Rosemira Organics

I've been a little obsessed lately with radiant, glowing skin. I believe if your skin is in great shape your makeup will look flawless. As a teenager I always wanted flawless skin but when I look back on my skin care routine I can see why it was not in great shape. Since greening my skin care products I've seen significant improvement of my natural glow.

I got the opportunity to sample some products from an amazing company named Rosemira Organics. Dr. Mira Herman is the founder of the brand. A little about Dr. Herman from the website: "I've always had a passion for skin care. I began experimenting making skin care products when I was 19. Having been raised in Israel, I liked playing with clays and mud, inspiring me to create my own line of clay masques. The Sacred Essential Oils of Myrrh and Frankincense have been used abundantly in Israel. Many of the Orange, Lemon and Grapefruit Essential Oils available for purchase are grown and distilled in Israel." The samples sizes I was sent included: Tangerine & Spice Dry Sugar Body Scrub, Sandalwood & Spearmint Gentle Exfoliating Foaming Cleanser, Organic Argan Oil Hair & Body Kit, and Moisturize Me Citrus Restorative Cream. Since these products were sample sizes I am unable to give a full review, I will only provide my first impressions of the products.

Tangerine & Spice Dry Sugar Body Scrub description from www.rosemira.com: A gentle and effective cleansing and exfoliating treatment for the body. Raw Organic Brown sugar blended with Organic Argan oil and essential oils of Tangerine and Cinnamon result in a refreshing and invigorating shower experience. The fresh scent of citrus will follow you throughout the day. Who wouldn't like to smell like a Tangerine?
My thoughts: I loved using the body scrub in the morning, it was like a burst of citrus to awaken me. It was not rough or irritating to my skin and it left me feeling refreshed and ready to face the day. The sample was enough for two uses and I was sad to see it end. I am looking forward to the full size.
Ingredients: Organic Turbinado Brown Sugar; *Organic Citrus Reticulata Blanco Var Tangerina (Tangerine) Essential Oil, 5-fold; *Organic Argania Spinosa (Argan) Oil, Fair Trade; *Organic Cinnamomum Zeylanicum (Cinnamon) Leaf Essential Oil.
Price: $4.00 sample - $30.00 4oz

Sandalwood & Spearmint Gentle Exfoliating Foaming Cleanser description from www.rosemira.com: "Joining the best of Indian Sandalwood with Mineral Salts from the Dead Sea — this cleanser will liven your skin. Organic Spearmint leaves, an herb commonly used by the Native American Indians has been added to this formula for its antibacterial properties and lighthearted aroma. Coconut Cream Concentrate from Thailand, with its antioxidant properties, nourishes and softens the skin, while Organic Cucumber Hydrosol is toning and cooling. Age-old traditions of IndiaIsraelThailand and Native American Indians, unite for this aromatic cleanser—a fitting companion for your skin care regimen."
My thoughts: The exfoliating cleanser is one I've never experienced and truly one of a kind. I love anything that comes from the Dead Sea, and to add Sandalwood and the healing effects of Spearmint is just genius! The exfoliating cleanser did not irritate my face and it left it feeling smooth but a bit tight. I did have to apply moisturizer to my skin to get rid of the tightness of the cleanser. After the moisturizer was added, my skin felt soft to the touch. The sample is enough for about four uses depending on how much you use. My only issue with the product is that it contains two ingredients I try to avoid which are Cocamidopropyl Betaine and Phenoxyethanol. Other than that, everything else looks great, and I would purchase if these ingredients were removed from the formula.
Ingredients: Organic Mentha Spicata (Spearmint) Leaves; Santalum Album (Sandalwood) Botanical Powder; Dead Sea Mineral Salts; * Organic Cucumis Sativa (Cucumber) Hydrosol; Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Cream; Aqua (Water) Distilled; Cocamidopropyl Betaine; Phenoxyethanol; Essential Oils of Cedrus Atlantica (Cedarwood), Melaleuca Cajeputi (Cajeput), Pinus Pinaster (Pine) Long Leaf; Polysaccharide Gum (Xanthan Gum) Food grade; Tetrasodium EDTA; Citric Acid; Caprylyl Capryl Glucoside; *Pure Premium Essential oils (fragrance made only from 100% steam distilled organic or wild crafted essential oils)
Price:  $7.00 sample - $38.00 4oz

Organic Argan Oil Hair & Body Kit description from www.rosemira.com: "The kit contains three bottles of superior quality Organic and Fair-Trade Argan Oil – the freshest and best Argan Oil we’ve experienced to date. Each bottle contains 99% Argan oil with 1% added Essential Oils of either Rosemary, Myrrh or Tangerine, added to increase nutritious value and scent. The oil can be used on dry or wet hair to condition and style; on dry skin to moisturize and heal; and on the face to slow signs of premature aging. All three oils are great for all hair conditions and skin types."
My thoughts: I specifically used all three oils for my hair. I put my hair through a lot of stress by constantly blow drying it, which is obviously drying it out. I've applied other oils to my hair that have left it really greasy, but these oils are not heavy at all. The oils gave me a beautiful, non-frizzy beach look that defined my hair's natural wave. And who can argue with the sweet aromas of Rosemary, Myrrh, and Tangerine? I kept whiffing my hair from all the delicious smells. When washing the oils out my hair, I found it was less tangled than usual. The oil samples are good for about two uses depending how much product you apply.
Ingredients: Organic, Fair-Trade Moroccan Argania Spinosa (Argan) Oil; *Organic Rosemarinus Officinalis var Verbenon (Rosemary) Essential Oil; *Organic Commiphora Myrrha (Myrrh) Essential Oil; *Organic Citrus Reticulata (Tangerine) Essential Oil
Price: $10.00 sample - $48.00 for 3 .33oz

Moisturize Me Citrus Restorative Cream description from www.rosemira.com: Rich and fragrant, this cream can be used both day and night. It effectively tones skin and tightens pores, slows down wrinkle formation and helps reduce the appearance of existing ones. It works particularly well for Combination and Oily skin and those prone to acne, yet is also very nourishing to dry, mature skin. A versatile product loved by women and men alike.
My thoughts: I have saved the best for last, this is one product I cannot be without. This moisturizer has a lovely citrus smell and it leaves my skin super soft due to amazing ingredients like Jojoba Oil and Organic Aloe Vera gel. My Lauren Brooke cream foundation looks absolutely flawless after applying Moisturize Me Citrus Restorative Cream. My pores looked tighter which I LOVED! The cream did not break me out nor irritate me, it just gave me a beautiful dewy look. I will be sad when the sample is gone, but this is one product I will surely purchase.
Ingredients: Organic Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Oil; Hypoallergenic, Pharmaceutical Grade Lanolin; *Organic Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Gel; *A Proprietary Blend of 100% Steam-Distilled, Organic, or Wild-Crafted Essential Oils, including: *Organic Citrus Limonum (Lemon) Essential Oil, *Organic Citrus Aurantium (Orange) Essential Oil, *Organic Citrus Reticulata (Tangerine) Essential Oil and more; Aqua (Water) Distilled; Apis Mellifera (Beeswax) Pure, 100% Filtered
Price: $7.00 sample - $26.00 - $60.00 full sizes

Final thoughts: Rosemira Organics really impressed me by the sample sizes provided. Rosemira has a wide variety of skin care depending on your skin type. I have combination skin and the products provided worked wonderfully. Dr. Mira Herman will go out of her way to answer any question you may have regarding which product will best suit your skin type. Customer service is number one in my books. A product can be great, but if the customer service is lacking, I am not likely to be back. Rosemira combines outstanding products with exceptional customer service, and that's why I hope you'll try this amazing brand.

*I received these sample products in exchange for an honest review. I have not been paid for my review, nor does the fact that I received the products for free influence my opinion.*

  3. Hey Crystal, I'm currently testing Rosemira too and really happy to see your review on the samples! I tried the Rose moisturizer first since my skin has been pretty dehydrated recently. I am saving the citrus cream for summer time!

  5. Thank you for your lovely blog post Crystal!
I usually do not recommend foaming cleansers exactly for the tight
feeling that people tend to feel afterwards. If you do use them, I recommend balancing
with the use of hydrating toners, a rich serum and moisturizing creams.
If one can avoid foaming cleansers I suggest using our Tangerine
Frosting or Rich Moisturizing Cleanser & Night Cream.
Like you, I have some concerns with the two ingredients found in the foaming cleanser
you mentioned in your post . I purchase my base for the cleansers from
a company I like but they include those two ingredients in almost
everything they do. I approached them and offered to sign a release of
liability for them to sell it to me without those ingredients but to
no avail. The only saving grace here is that it is the base and to
that I add my own ingredients so the concentration of those
ingredients is really small. Never the less, I don't like that those
ingredients are included, so I am in the process of making a new
cleanser, not relying on anyone else's base, and it will be totally
pure. I think it will turn out to be a nice cleanser.
I hope this helps address your concerns. I'm thrilled overall to hear how how well my products are working for you. Thanks again for the wonderful post!
