W3ll People Narcissist Stick Foundation Sample

Friday, February 7, 2014

On the search for the perfect creme foundation, I visited our local W3ll People beauty store and got a sample of the Narcissist Stick Foundation. A little about W3ll People from its website: "At W3LL PEOPLE our cosmetics are completely clean and 100% natural with an emphasis on organic ingredients. There are NO harsh artificial chemicals, preservatives or petroleums, not even a little bit, ever. What our makeup does contain is an advanced botanical complex of organic aloe, organic chamomile and organic green tea. This synergistic complex provides nourishing and protecting benefits to the skin like no other makeup brand."

It was actually 4 months ago when I got the sample. I've had a hate/love relationship with this foundation. My very first impression was it left my face feeling cakey and stuck to all my dry patches when I applied it with my beauty blender. I gave up on the product and tucked it away with my other samples.

This week, I've rediscovered it, since my skin is in better hydrating condition. I applied the foundation using my fingers to warm up the product. This foundation is so creamy when warmed up and easy to apply, it glides on and blends great and has a light to medium coverage but easily buildable. I noticed after a couple of hours that it started looking better than when I first applied it. A tip if you are going to use this product, make sure your face is moisturized before applying. I believe that was the mistake I made when I first used it. Although I only have a sample of the foundation, I will keep trying it out until it's gone but so far so good.

The foundation comes in 8 shade colors ranging from 0-7. I am foundation color #3 and a perfect match. I will continue using W3ll People's Narcissist Stick Foundation and hope this is one I will keep enjoying.

Ingredients: Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Oil*, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Cera Alba (Beeswax)*, Silica, Castor Isostearate Beeswax Succi- nate **, Mica (CI 77019), Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil (and) Organic Aloe Barbadenis (Aloe) Extract, Lysine, Tocopherol (Natural Vitamin E), Pro- prietary Essential Oil blend, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea)*, Roman Anthemis Nobilis (Chamomile)** [+/-: Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, 77492, 77499)]

Final Thoughts: I really hope the foundation keeps working the way it has. I will continue to moisturize my skin before applying. If I still love the way it applies, I will surely purchase the full size stick foundation.

What are some of your favorite natural, clean, and green creme foundations?

  3. Currently I have this sample too and I love it! I feel that it covers blemishes better than rms beauty un-cover up, and better staying power too.
